Thirsty Bear

The project has a unique condition of street frontage at both ends, creating a ‘see through’ urban space. The facades are partially peeled away and replaced with multi-hued glazing systems that act as visual filters to the building’s transparency, while similarly, floors are peeled away to connect three levels, with service and stairs suspended between. The material qualities of the project are orchestrated through new systems of concrete and stainless steel intertwined with existing systems of timber and brick.
